2006 is a pivotal year in my photography in that this is when I switched to digital -- a Canon G6, point and shoot model with a built-in 140mm zoom. My work travel takes me to Italy, the Netherlands, and Tanzania - highlight of the year. The lens is clearly not adequate by 'wildlife safari standards' forcing me to concentrate on nearby subjects.
